1) Usage:
Clot Activator tube is used for the collection and storage of blood specimens for biochemistry, immunology tests in medical inspection. The tube is coated with micron-sized silica particles on the interior surface to accelerate clotting within 5 minutes and avoid hemolysis. Samples processed in these tubes are suitable for emergency serum biochemical experiments.
2) Limitations:
Patients with abnormal clotting due to disease, or patients receiving anticoagulant therapy, clotting time may exceed 30 minutes
